Subject: KPS OOSH Information Night & Next Steps
Dear KPS OOSH Families,
Thank you to those who attended the OOSH information night last night. We were fortunate to have Gemma Quinn, the CEO of the P&C Federation of NSW, join us to provide information on the Before and After School Care (BASC) reform and what this means for KPS OOSH in light of the recent tender notice. We have attached some of the information presented on the night for your reference.
We were overwhelmed by the support you have shown for OOSH. It is important that your voices are heard, so we encourage as many of you as possible to email your concerns to:

Please question the BASC reform and express what it would mean for our children and community if our OOSH becomes privatised. Additionally, highlight the concern that our community was not given the opportunity to choose whether we wanted to transition to a P&C-run OOSH.
Many of you requested to be kept as up-to-date as possible. To facilitate this, we have created a KPS OOSH Updates Community WhatsApp group as another way to keep you informed. To join the group, please click: Join WhatsApp Group . We will also be creating a “Save Our OOSH” blog section on our website. We will, of course, continue to communicate via our usual channels—email, Facebook, and KangarooTime.
If you were unable to attend the information night and have any questions, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Kind regards,
KPS OOSH
